Delta Careers is offering educational, online and global Work-Experience Programs and courses to accelerate future careers for ambitious high school students with companies like Uber, PwC etc. As part of our mission to develop holistic individuals, CGA offers a wide variety of Work-Experience Programs to develop the next generation of high-performing talent. These provide real-world experience to high school students and allow them an opportunity to interact with industry mentors.
Besides offering world-class extracurricular activities, we partner with global companies to offer high school students an opportunity to learn through projects. The Work-Experience Program and live careers training courses offer students an opportunity to explore a career before they go to university where they have to commit to a field of study. Every participating student also receives a reference letter written signed by a company representative.

UBER Work-Experience Program A 1 month fully immersive work experience for high school students by Delta Careers with a company solving global mobility problems.
The Uber Global Work Experience Program is a cohort based skill building opportunity for future career success. It will be a foundational setting for you to learn practical skills whilst being able to accelerate your careers development with early work experience as a high school student. You will strategise and research a new product offering for Uber and potentially see it launched globally.

Marketing
The best marketing campaigns start with smart and comprehensive market research. You will be conducting primary research such as customer interviews and secondary research to discover new directions and engineer an entire marketing campaign around launching a new product.
Design and Technology (UI/UX)
When new products are introduced, new features are implemented to the consumer-facing mobile app. You will be tasked to build a clean user interface and strategically re-design the app with optimal user experience in mind. You will be working at the intersection of design and technology. No prior software or design experience necessary.
Product
Management
You will learn how to merge business acumen, technical skills and customer desires to lead Uber products to success. This will entail a hands-on customer discovery process, followed by strategic analysis and lastly implementation through executing your findings.
Program Outline:
Week 1
Orientation Week
Get introduced to the program, your mentors and Uber. You will learn how a technology company like Uber operates and begin preliminary research on the program project
Week 2
Competence Week
You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.
Week 3
Development Week
You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project in the context of Uber and working as a team is the focus.
Week 4
Pitch Week
In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to Uber representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.
Program Details:
• 4-5 students per team
• 10-20 hrs commitment per week
Tangible Outcomes:
• Completion of the program as a team
• Gaining Practical skills in various domains
• Presenting final project to Uber Representatives
• Gaining a referral letter signed by Uber
Additional Work-Experience Program times will be added pending on areas of enrolment.
This program opened my eyes to what life would be like when I enter the workforce - it was an amazing experience.
It’s a great opportunity to take a step into the career path, specifically business. This can really help you when you are applying for college.
