Drexel LeBow’s Camp Business, recently recognized by Forbes as an Innovative Business Summer Programs For High School Students, is a daytime enriching summer program designed to give rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors an intensive introduction to both collegiate and corporate business education — and it shows them that business can be both fun and exciting.

Camp Business participants learn the basics of major business disciplines including accounting, marketing, finance and management, as well as the core concepts of business including leadership, professional image, etiquette, team building and strategy. Students also learn about resources essential to business such as the stock market, financial documents and technology.
Please note that for the commuter session students are expected to commute to and from LeBow each day, living accommodations are not provided. Residential session does include housing in one of our residential halls on campus.
For the commuter session, lunch will be provided daily. For the residential session, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be provided daily. International applicants are welcome.
Exceptional high school students, currently in their sophomore or junior year, are encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
Please submit a brief essay (100-300 words) on one of the following topics:
- One of your YouTube videos has just reached its one millionth view. What is the video about?
- Upon creating your ideal LinkedIn profile, which part are you most proud of and why?
- Describe one of your quirks and why it is important to who you are.
Every year we welcome students from around the world and look forward to all the different perspectives that are brought to the courses. As all courses are taught in English, we do require a video conference interview as part of the application process to ensure they are comfortable with the language and make sure they will be successful in the program.
Please also check any necessary travel restrictions/recommendations for your country of residence coming to and from the United States.
Deadline
The application for Camp Business is now closed. Please consider joining us at Business Bootcamp in February!
Admission to Camp Business is competitive. Preference is given to students with outstanding GPAs and active involvement in extracurricular or community service activities. We also will review PSAT, ACT and SAT test scores for consideration, but these are not required to apply.
Payment will be collected upon acceptance into the program and will be due at a later date. If payment is not received by the due date, spots will remain available until the session is full.
Financial Aid
There are a small number of alumni-sponsored scholarships available to students accepted into the Camp Business program. Students will be selected to receive the scholarship based on financial need only.
