The UC Davis student farms (UC Davis is #1 in agriculture), Mondavi Food Institute (UC Davis is #1 in food science), UC Davis veterinary hospital (UC Davis is #1 in veterinary studies) have all been very popular among students. At the same time, students can play sports of their choice, cycle through the 100-acre UC Davis Arboretum or hang out in a college town that has one of the most public art per square mile in the country.
Beyond the campus, students will make 3 nearby excursions – to Sacramento, San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area. Visits include to UC Berkeley, with a talk with their admissions officers, Stanford University, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Students will have a full experience for a memorable and inspiring summer.
Students enrolled in high school are eligible to apply.
