The Lumiere Research Scholar Program, founded by researchers from Harvard and Oxford, is a fully virtual program that offers selected students the opportunity to work 1-1 with a Ph.D. mentor.

The program is designed to provide you with an immersive and personalized learning experience. You will explore cutting-edge research in your field of interest and develop independent research projects.

Individual Research Program

The Individual Research Program (IRP) is an immersive 12-week academic research program designed to help intellectually curious and academically talented high school gain expertise in an area of their academic interest. In this program, you will work closely with a PhD mentor, a content expert in your field of choice, to learn research skills and design and execute an independent research project.

Premium Research and Publication Program

The Premium Research and Publication Program (PRPP) is an intensive 16 to 20-week academic research program that is focused on the elements of the IRP and also on the submission of the research paper to a prestigious high-school or college-level journal.

Participating in the PRPP is an excellent way to gain expertise in a subject you are passionate about and develop research skills that will enable you to contribute to scientific innovation and knowledge creation. The opportunity to attempt publication in a selective journal is a unique and valuable aspect of this program, providing a chance to showcase your work and enhance your academic credentials.

Research Fellowship

The Research Fellowship Program offers an extended, independent study module ranging from 6 to 12 months, and is right for you if you are looking to conduct extensive research in your field of interest, prepare for a competition, or publish your work in a highly selective journal.

You will create a detailed study involving original data analysis and collection that stands up against real-world academic projects.

Although the program is fully virtual, there is a solid sense of community. We encourage this through regular workshops and webinars covering important topics on research and college admissions. We also host a graduation ceremony for each cohort!
