This course will show you how to think like an economist, and provide a perspective about the way economics is taught at the University level. In particular, you will be introduced to some of the key concepts and tools of game theory and behavioral economics.



The fee for the Summer School includes accommodation for 10 nights, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, the social programme, all teaching, the guest lectures, travel to London and Oxford and all the activities on trips.
The Pre-University Summer School academic content includes:
- An introduction to the Summer School
- 24 hours of academic teaching and professional skills development
- A guest lecture with an industry expert
- A campus tour with current students
- Advice and guidance on applying to study at university and personal statements
- A chance to see the University City of Oxford
- A talk from a Warwick alumnus
- The chance to live alongside current Warwick student ambassadors
- All students will receive a certificate of attendance from the University of Warwick.
Students applying for this programme must be aged 15-17 and considering applying or have already applied to university. There are no subject specific criteria but you should be a passionate and enthusiastic learner.
English Language Requirements
Our Summer School course is taught in English so students must be able to demonstrate a good level of English language and comprehension. We assess students' English ability through their application and correspondence.
Visa Advice
Students from abroad may require immigration permission to attend the Warwick Pre-University Summer School. We will notify you by email if you will need a visa. You should only start your visa application once you have made a tuition fee payment and received an electronic visa invitation letter.
There are no subject specific criteria but you should be a passionate and enthusiastic learner. Students' English proficiency is assessed through application and correspondence.

You will need additional money for souvenirs, drinks and snacks and any shopping you may wish to do during the programme.
It is possible to pay the fee in instalments and we will let you know the options once you have an offer.
Payment is made in pounds sterling. Please note, you will need to pay a £50 application fee when you apply for this programme. This fee is non-refundable but will be deducted from the overall fee.
