Live and interactive online classes
World Business Academy is delivered synchronously over two weeks in (i) ten live and interactive online classes, and (ii) two one-on-one personalized academic tutorials led by your instructor. The program follows the World Business Academy curriculum and includes:
- Maximum class size six (6) students
- Individual feedback and academic guidance
- Mini-MBA project
- Take-home continuing study exercises and resources
- Letter of Recommendation from your instructor (upon satisfactory participation)
- Access to video recordings of all ten (10) live classes for future review
- Complimentary admission to the Career Exploration Academy
- Course completion certificate
I took the discover business academy and the world business academy with Dr. Gerard Dericks, and I must say I loved them! I learned much about investing, stocks, prices, macro and microeconomics, and more. They were engaging, fun courses well-organized, and adequately explained by a phenomenal professor. I recommend this course to anyone with a small amount of mathematical knowledge and a large amount of passion. It is excellent for anyone interested in learning about anything and everything, from market equilibrium to deep learning.
The course was really engaging! I was not the only international student, and I didn’t feel any pressure. The only con was that I had to go to bed very late because the classes started at 1 am in my time zone. The professor elaborated various topics, and we watched videos and worked in groups, so there were a lot of things to do. The knowledge I got is also practical and applicable.
I took the World Business Academy course with Dr Dericks - it was absolutely awesome! I recommend for those who need a nudge into the right financial direction. He provided helpful resources for after the course as well (podcasts, books, recordings of classes), as well as his personal insight. 10/10 recommend.
I chose to take the World Business Academy Course at World Scholars Academy and it was very helpful. We learned a lot about the education, business, and investing world. Who Should Apply:
World Scholars Academy programs target ambitious students from around the world who are eager to excel in their academic pursuits and learn in a personalized setting from the world’s most accomplished educators.
When to Apply:
It is recommended to enroll for your desired program session as soon as possible. However, we are able to accept a student onto our programs up until the day they start, provided that the session has not yet filled. For summer courses it is also better to apply earlier so we can schedule your first one-on-one tutorial with your instructor prior to your first class, and so you have a chance to consult your instructor's recommended preparatory materials before your classes begin (though this is optional).
